Sam Hill built this company on integrity and quality services. We are a proud, 3rd generation family owned business. In 1977, Sam Hill started the company with one backhoe and commitment to excellent workmanship. His eldest son Ron Hill joined him in 1978 and has led the company since Sam’s retirement. He has remained committed to the principles of integrity, quality and fair price that his Dad followed. Ron’s son Spencer joined the executive team in 2005 and manages the day to day administration of the company as an estimator/project manager. This formula has resulted in satisfied customers, year after year, and long-term working relationships with builders, private customers and public agencies.
Our long-term employees combine technical expertise with extensive field experience in tunneling and underground construction. These dedicated people have proven time and again that they have the capability and commitment to carry out challenging projects in the most difficult ground conditions. Our lead estimator/project manager has been with the company for 30 years and our foremen average more than 15 years of experience in the field.
Jobsite safety and injury prevention are a priority for us. Over the years we have outperformed our peers with our excellent loss prevention history.
